uMotif Announce New Technology Advisor – Dr Alison Vincent, Former Cisco Chief Technology Officer

uMotif are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Alison Vincent to their multi-disciplinary advisory board. Dr Vincent is a technical thought leader with 30 years’ experience within global businesses holding senior level positions at Cisco, HSBC, NDS, Micro Focus, and IBM. Together with the uMotif leadership team and fellow advisory board members, Dr Vincent will help shape uMotif’s technology strategy.

While CTO at Cisco UK & Ireland, Dr Vincent was an ambassador and trusted advisor championing Cisco technology to customers, start-ups, governments, partners, press, and analysts. Her previous roles span experience in product management, risk, research and development, strategy execution, and business development, with particular expertise in digital strategy and innovation.

Dr Vincent was acknowledged in the Most Influential Women in UK Tech 2017. Frequently published in the press, she is an active blogger and keen social media technical influencer. Dr Vincent holds a PhD in cryptography from London University and a first class honours BSc in maths and computer science. She is also a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
